The show, presented by The Avon Theatre and Shelley Archives, starts at 7:30 p.m. Host Bill Shelley will lead the audience in celebrating the work of Aerosmith and will include clips of concerts, television performances and rehearsal footage.
"Hailed as one of the classic hard rock bands, Aerosmith was one of those rare groups whose first album clicked with the public," a press release said. "The group has survived more than four decades in the business, with a few member changes along the way, but Steven Tyler is still the singer-songwriter, front man."
Tickets are free for Carte Blanche Members, $6 for members, $8 for students and seniors and $11 for non-members. Residents are asked to call the Avon business office at 203-661-0321 or the box office at 203-967-3660, Ext. 2 for tickets.
The Avon Theatre is located at 272 Bedford St. in Stamford.
