Stamford Participates In Take Your Child To Library Day

STAMFORD, Conn. -- Celebrate the 5th annual National Take Your Child to the Library Day at the Ferguson Library in Stamford.

It will be Saturday, Feb. 6. 

The event is for children ages 5 and up. Families are welcome. There will be stickers at all library locations. 

Events are as follows:

  • Sing Me a Story at 10:30 a.m. in the Weed Memorial and Hollander Branch. The Ferguson’s Dr. Ev leads a morning of music and movement. It is for ages 3 to 8 with a caregiver. 
  • Zumba Kids at 2 p.m. Main Library, DiMattia Building, third floor auditorium. This is an interactive and easy-to-follow Latin-inspired Zumba Kids class. The class is for children ages 5 and up. Grown-ups are welcome to join.Remember to wear sneakers and bring a bottle of water. This is a drop-in program. No registration is required.
