STAMFORD, Conn. -- "A Novel Affair," the library's spring fundraiser, will be Thursday, April 14.
"It's a festive evening of entertainment and fun, with delicious food donated by local restaurants," a news release notes. "This year, we're delighted to honor Ernest N. Abate for his longstanding service to the library and the Stamford community."
Individual tickets are $125, and there are lower-price tickets for book-club members and "junior professionals" -- those under 26 and under. You can buy tickets online -- and a variety of sponsorship opportunities are also available.
