Stamford Ballet School Fundraiser To Include Broadway Vet

STAMFORD, Conn. -- Broadway veteran Frank Mastrone will join a sneak preview performance of "Sleeping Beauty" at the Ballet School of Stamford's 18th annual Chefs on Pointe fundraiser.

The fundraiser takes place from 5:30-8:30 p.m. March 6 at Old Town Hall in downtown Stamford.

Mastrone will emcee the evening and join the performance. He has performed for more than 25 years in "The Phantom of the Opera," "Les Miserables," "Jekyll and Hyde," "Mama Mia", "Evita," "Cats," "Saturday Night Fever" and more.

A sneak preview of the "Sleeping Beauty" ballet will follow a cocktail reception, food and wine and an auction. 

Local restaurants, such as Tawa Indian Cuisine, Tavern 489 and Barrel House Restaurant and Bar will provide food and wine options. 

The fundraiser will benefit the school's scholarship and outreach program, Dance for All.
