People Friendly Stamford Seeks Public Input For Planning Session

STAMFORD, Conn. -- All residents are invited to attend People Friendly Stamford's annual planning meeting, "Dreams and Priorities."

Members of the community and local businesses take part in Parking Day 2015 which allowed them to set up in parking areas to showcase what the additional spaces could be used for besides automobiles.

People Friendly Stamford's mission is to connect Stamford’s neighborhoods in a way that is safe and enjoyable for bicycling and walking. They hope to engage resident in their effort to work with the city and expand the links for pedestrians and bikes in the transportation system.

The purpose of the meeting is to decide on the long and short term priorities for the year. Officials will review the organization's strengths, weaknesses, what has been accomplished in the past year as input for deciding priorities for the new year. 

The meeting will be at noon Saturday, Feb. 20, at the Ferguson Library, 3rd floor conference room. A get-together will follow at a local establishment for lunch.
