BRIDGEPORT, Conn. – Michael "Trevor" Powell, of Bridgeport, died Monday, Oct. 12 at the Connecticut Hospice in Branford. He was 68.
Powell was born in Santa Cruz, Trinidad to Robert and Margaret (nee Ravello) Powell.
He worked at Ross and Roberts and Mobil Chemical.
Powell was predeceased by his parents, sister Joyce Powell-Villasana and brother, Francis Powell.
He is survived by four children, Trudy Powell-McGee and her husband Yen of Stratford, Trevor Powell and his wife Tamara of Bridgeport, Carla Pantaleon-Stovell and her husband Reginald of Massachusetts, Roger Hunte of New York; three sisters, Grace Lendor of Trinidad, Bernadette Powell-Harris of Texas, Glory Powell of Trinidad; one brother, Henry Powell of Trinidad; 10 grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours will be from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at the Pistey Funeral Home, 2155 Main St., Stratford, with funeral services to follow.
Interment will be private.
