AAA Officially Opens New Stamford Office

STAMFORD, Conn. – Stamford lawmakers and AAA Southern New England/ CT executives cut the ribbon in a ceremony that officially opened the doors of AAA's new Stamford branch office at High Ridge Center.

Participating in the ceremony were State Rep. William Tong (D-147), State Sen. Carlo Leone (D-27) and Stamford Chamber of Commerce executives, who joined AAA executives to officially open the doors of the 2,800-square-foot office at 1101 High Ridge Road.

"We've been in Stamford for more than 25 years," said Lloyd Albert, AAA Southern New England senior vice president. "This move to a more central location offers us greater accessibility, a higher business profile and greater business opportunities." The AAA Stamford office previously was located on Newfield Avenue.

The new office provides a variety of AAA offerings, such as personalized travel routings, maps and brochures to help members. Visitors also can discuss plans for cruises, tours, travel packages or flights. Movie, amusement park and other entertainment-related tickets are available at deep discounts. The office also offers DMV license renewal services. Before year's end, AAA also expects to offer DMV auto registration renewal services and Connecticut identification cards.

Also participating in the festivities were, from left, AAA Stamford Branch Manager Michael Ferrari, AAA Senior Vice President–Public Affairs Lloyd Albert and Stamford Chamber of Commerce Executive Vice President Barbara Seiter (right).
