The following are June programs for kids:

Summer Reading Pre-Kickoff Craft Saturday, June 4 at 2 p.m. Main Library, DiMattia Building Lower Level Program Room

On Your Mark, Get Set…READ! For ages 5 and up. Drop-in program. Shake, Rattle and Read Saturdays, June 4 & 11 from 10:30 to 11:45 a.m. South End Branch; Stories, songs, crafts and more with Mandrita for ages three and up with caregiver.

Read to Skylar Saturday, June 4 from 11 a.m. to noon Main Library, DiMattia Building Lower Level Program Room. Practice reading with Skylar, a certified therapy dog. Ages 6 to 8. Registration required. (203) 351-8294.

Sing Along with Dr. Ev Monday, June 6 at 1 p.m. Main Library, DiMattia Building Third Floor Auditorium Music-making and movement with The Ferguson’s own Dr. Ev. Ages 5 and under with caregiver.

Sing Me a Story Saturday, June 11 at 10:30 a.m. at WMH The Ferguson’s Dr. Ev leads a morning of music and movement. Ages 3 to 8 with caregiver.

Summer Reading Kick-off Saturday, June 18 Main Library, DiMattia Building Face Painting and Costume Character 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. All ages.

Strolling Magician 1 to 2 p.m. All ages. Harry Bennett Branch Face Painting 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. South End Branch

Make Your Own Ice Cream Sundae 12 to 1 p.m. Join the Team, then eat ice cream! Weed Memorial & Hollander Branch Lawn Games 2 to 4 p.m. All ages.

Friday Flicks Friday, June 24 at 2 p.m. Main Library, DiMattia Building Third Floor Auditorium "Zootopia." Rated PG. For ages 6 and up.

Pajama Storytime Wednesday, June 29 at 6:30 p.m. Harry Bennett Branch Stories and songs for the whole family. Wear your pajamas if you like. Ages 3 ½ and up.

The Main Library, DiMattia Building is located at the corner of Bedfordand Broad Streets.

The Harry Bennett Branch is located at 115 Vine Road.

The South End Branch is located at 34 Woodland Ave.

The Weed Memorial & Hollander Branch is located at 1143 Hope St.
