28-Year-Old Man Assaults Victim During Argument At Prince William Home: Police

A Manassas man was arrested after hit an acquaintance in the face over Independence Day weekend, authorities said.

Daniel Aguilar Romero, 28, quickly became violent while arguing with the 40-year-old victim at a house on the 8600 block of Newton Place around 11:20 p.m., Prince William County police said.

Romero struck the victim, sending him to the hospital with facial injuries, according to police.

Romero was charged with malicious wounding with a pending court date.
