State Police: Morris County Nissan Driver Slams Into Tractor-Trailer Parked On Side Of Rt. 287

One person was injured after the driver of a Nissan Altima slammed into a tractor-trailer parked on the shoulder of Rt. 287 in Morris County Wednesday night, state police said.

The driver — whose identity was not made public — was traveling southbound in Harding Township and crashed into a Volvo tractor-trailer that was parked on the right shoulder near milepost 30.6 around 9:25 p.m., NJSP Philip Curry told Daily Voice.

One occupant in the Nissan was taken to Morristown Medical Center with injuries considered non-life-threatening, Curry said.
