Bat & Owl Prowl: Friday, Oct. 30 from 6-9 p.m.

This annual evening event includes a Kiddie Costume Contest (everyone wins), “Creatures of the Night” animal presentation with Kristen from Jungle Jamboree, “Star-gazing for Kids,” a night hike into the woods (bring flashlights), snacks and more. Fee is $8 per person over 2 years old.

Non-Scary Family Fun Fall Festival: Sunday, Oct. 4 from 1-4 p.m.

Join the center for a fun-filled afternoon of autumn activities. Admission includes apple cider making, face painting, animal shows, arts & crafts, haystack dive, music and more. Fee is $8 per person over 2y years old..

Holiday Club Dates and Themes:

Monday, Oct. 12 – Creatures of the Night

Explore the woods looking for things that sleep during the day and come out at night. Children will take part in an eco-drama learning how nocturnal animals use echolocation.

Tuesday, Nov. 3 –Native American Part 1: Woodland Life

Participants will spend the day learning about how the Lenape Indians used their surroundings for survival while touring the wigwam, learn their methods of hunting, gathering, fishing and transportation.

Wednesday, Nov. 11– Native American Part 2: Lenape Village

Learn about the life of the Lenape Indians by telling stories, reenact their games, learn about their farming and cooking methods, and even make cornbread.
