YONKERS, N.Y. – Ann Moliterno of Yonkers and formerly of Mount Vernon died Dec. 30. She was 83.
Moliterno was born June 8, 1929, to Frank and Rose Viteritti. She married Daniel Moliterno on Oct. 9, 1949, at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church.
She worked in customer service for Sears for 28 years, before retiring in 1995. Moliterno enjoyed painting, crocheting and spending time with her family. Her family said that she was well-known at the Doyle Senior Center in New Rochelle, where she enjoyed sharing her paintings.
Moliterno is survived by her husband; two children, Daniel (Donna) Moliterno and Maryann (Michael) Hanrahan; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son, Steven; a brother and two sisters.
Visitation is from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Yannantuono Funeral Home in Mount Vernon. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9:45 a.m. Friday at Sts. Peter and Paul Church in Mount Vernon. Burial will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Hawthorne.
