Friday, July 27

Family Films: 4 p.m. Join the Chappaqua Library in the theater for feature-length films. The event is for all ages and is free and open to the public. 195 S. Greeley Ave.

Summer Film Series: 7 p.m. The Chappaqua Library will continue its summer film series with a showing of "Almost Famous." Free and open to the public. 195 S. Greeley Ave.

Local Olympian: Chappaqua-trained gymnast John Orozco will begin his quest for Olympic gold this Saturday in London. Check out the full schedule of Orozco's events.

Cycling Fundraiser: 7 p.m. Chain Reaction will hold a cycling fund-raiser to benefit Arc of Westchester. Starting in Lange’s Deli, the ride will loop for a short 25-30 miles or a long 75-80 miles. The ride will be fully supported by volunteer staff, and refreshments and meals will be provided. Each rider will be responsible for the $125 registration fee and his or her own fund raising (suggested minimum is $500). 382 King St.

Chappaqua Farmers Market: 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Church of St. Mary the Virgin, 191 S. Greeley Ave.

Bridge and Scrabble Club: 10 a.m. While bridge play is not for beginners, all levels are welcome for Scrabble. The club meets weekly and is free. Chappaqua Library, 195 S. Greeley Ave.
