Beginning on Wednesday, July 19,  Cask Republic in South Norwalk will host "Cask Bingo Night," a weekly charity event held on the patio, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.

With the Fairfield Comedy Club as an event partner, each event will be hosted by local stand-up comedians ready to provide some laughter and shenanigans.

Guests are asked to make a $5 donation to play bingo with the proceeds benefitting a local charity. The designated charity for July is Pet Animal Welfare Society (PAWS) in Norwalk.

For more chances to win, additional cards are available and prizes will be awarded to each bingo winner. Raffle tickets will also be sold for $1.

Half of the raffle proceeds will benefit the designated charity and the other half will be given to the raffle winner. The raffle winner must be present to win the earnings. Guests can enjoy beer and cocktail specials as well as the regular a la carte menu.

The following comedians will be hosting the upcoming evenings:

  • July 19: Joe Gerics & Beecher
  • July 26: Darren Sechrist
  • Aug. 2: Daniel Kalwhite
  • Aug. 9: Chrissie Mayr
