STAMFORD, Conn. -- Stamford's Palace Theatre is "bringing stars back to life" with "Heartthrobs & Bombshells" on Oct. 18.
Christine Pedi and Johnny Rodgers will present the performance at 8 p.m. Oct. 18 at Stamford's Palace Theatre. The show is the second in the Courtyard by Marriott Stamford Broadway/Cabaret/Jazz Series “Perfect Pairs at The Palace,” sponsored by Norman Drubner, according to a news release.
"During 'Heartthrobs & Bombshells,' Ms. Pedi and Mr. Rodgers celebrate the sass and sex appeal of the silver screen’s greatest musical dreamboats and sirens," representatives said in the release. "They honor the hunky heartthrobs and bodacious bombshells that made generations swing and swoon."
Pedi is known as the “lady of 1000 voices” and has performed on stages around the world including on Broadway, Off Broadway, London’s West End, Japan and Los Angeles.
Rodgers is an "internationally-celebrated singer-songwriter, pianist, Broadway star, and recording artist who is described by Stephen Holden from the New York Times as an entertainer 'that can’t be found anywhere else' with 'fused elements of Billy Joel, Peter Allen and Johnny Mercer,'" according to the release.
Tickets for the show are available at the Stamford Palace Theatre website.
