The health fair will offer many different health screenings, including podiatrist, general hearing, glucose testing, healthy eating, and cholesterol screenings. This all takes place on Thursday, Aug. 25 between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. at the Martin Luther King Jr. Apartments, 40 Stillwater Ave. in Stamford.
Representatives from a variety of wellness focused Stamford-based agencies and businesses will be on hand with information on pediatric, adult and senior nutrition, wellness, and exercise programs to promote healthier living and longevity.
Vendors at NNI’s third annual Health Fair include: Stamford Police and Fire Department, Credit Karma, Community Action, La Fitness, Wells Fargo, Food Bank of Lower Fairfield County, Fair gate Farms, Grade A Shoprite, Boys and Girls Club, Liberation House, Shelter for the Homeless, America Red Cross, Stamford Health Department, Personally Yours Health and Fitness, Danielcare, LLC, Center for Vein Restoration, Planned Parenthood, Catholic Charities, and Aquarian Water Company and more.
