STAMFORD, Conn. — Are you always looking for ways to save money? If so you are in luck as expert saver Elizabeth Lahens will be in Stamford to teach a course in Extreme Couponing.
Lahens is the owner and founder of Extreme Coupons Today and says she once brought a $375 grocery store bill down to $0, a news release said.
The one-night only class is designed to help people save on grocery items, school supplies, office supplies, clothing, household items and more, the release said.
The event is being held at Rippowam Middle School, 381 High Ridge Road, from 6:30 to 9 p.m. on March 4. The fee for the class is $35 for residents and $45 for non-residents, and participants are asked to bring a non-perishable item to donate as well.
Registration can be done online or over the phone, 203-977-4209, with the Stamford Public Schools Continuing and Adult Education office.
