STAMFORD, Conn. — Country star Easton Corbin will be the headliners as the region’s hottest outdoor concert series, Alive@Five, continues Thursday, Aug 4, in Columbus Park in downtown Stamford.

Corbin is the first country male artist in 17 years to have his first two consecutive singles reach No. 1 – “A Little More Country Than That” and “Roll With It.”

Easton is no stranger to success. The three-time American Country Award winner was recently named Top New Country Artist by Billboard and continues his success with the latest hit “Baby Be My Love Song.”

The opener for the show will be Courtney Cole, who is introducing her unique brand of fun-filled, energetic sound. Her new self-titled EP is now available on iTunes and Spotify, featuring her single, “Ladylike”, co-written with Shane McAnally and Jimmy Robbins.

After being named a Spotify Spotlight Artist and one of Huffington Post’s Country Artists to Watch in 2015, Cole ended 2015 as the opening act on Miranda Lambert’s Roadside Bars & Pink Guitars Tour.

With a new publishing deal at Warner/Chappell and named one of CMT’s Next Women of Country, Cole hitting the road opening for acts such as Kenny Chesney, Miranda Lambert, and Thomas Rhett.

Alive@Five is held Thursday evenings through Aug. 11 at 5 p.m. in Columbus Park. It is limited to those 21 and over.

Live music for the after-work crowds has become a ritual in downtown Stamford.
