Craig Ferguson Headlines At Ridgefield Playhouse

RIDGEFIELD, Conn. – Scottish comedian and late-night talk show host Craig Ferguson will entertain at the Ridgefield Playhouse Oct. 8.

For the last eight years, Ferguson has hosted “The Late Late Show With Craig Ferguson” on CBS. During that time he was nominated several times for an Emmy, and won a Peabody Award.

Previously, Ferguson was on ABC's “Drew Carey Show” and had his own BBC show, “The Ferguson Theory.” He also worked with Betty White and Marie Osmond on the short-lived show “Maybe This Time”.

His got his start in entertainment as a drummer for several bands in his hometown of Glasgow. His began in comedy at the 1968 Edinburgh Fringe Festival. After that he was frequently featured on BBC shows and performed frequently in musical theater.

I've seen him twice in NYC. Once at the Town Hall Theater there.He's hysterical ! Bringing a friend is a must, because you will only catch half the jokes out of dying of laughter, the other half your friend can share with you later.
