Beer Or Bust: Rain Forces Stamford's Brews On Bedford To Move Inside

STAMFORD, Conn. — Due to a rainy weather forecast, the popular Brews on Bedford event in downtown Stamford will still have the Brews — but it won't be on Bedford.

The event will be moved indoors to The Palms nightclub at 129 Atlantic St., Stamford, on Saturday, May 13, from 1 to 5 p.m.

Brews on Bedford, presented by Stamford Downtown Special Services District, is a craft brew festival featuring over 40 beer varieties from 15-plus breweries. 

Guests can fill a sampling glass with beer from a variety of breweries from across the region, while enjoying live music with the Mike Cusato Band and Dirty Vice Band and fun games. 

Participating breweries include: 10 Barrel Brewing Company, 30 Mile Brewing Co., Black Hog Brewing Co., Bronx Brewery, Charter Oak Brewing Company, Citizen Cider, Fishers Island Lemonade, Half Full Brewery, Lock City Brewery, Nauti Seltzer, SpikedSeltzer, Stony Creek Brewery, Two Brothers Brewing, Two Roads Brewing Company and Wachusett Brewing Company.

Advanced tickets for Brews on Bedford are $25 ($27.57 with fee). Tickets will be $35 on the day of event — if tickets are still available. It sold out in advance last year. 

The entry fee includes a souvenir beer mug and six 4-ounce beer samples. Additional 4-ounce samples can be purchased for $2 each at the event.

Guests must be 21 and over only. Proper ID will be required for admission: Valid and current motor vehicle operator's license, identity card issued by the state Department of Motor Vehicles, or a passport along with another form of photo ID.
