St. Leo's In Elmwood Park Collecting Thanksgiving Donations

ELMWOOD PARK, N.J. - The St. Leo's School is opening their gym to collect and distribute food for the Thanksgiving holiday on Monday, Nov. 23 and Tuesday, Nov. 24.

The event will be from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. on Monday and 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. on Tuesday. Turkey donations will be accepted for the baskets.

The school on Tuesday during donation drop-offs will be distributing Thanksgiving baskets to those in need in the school gym from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

St. Leo's is accepting turkeys and monetary donations to purchase produce for the baskets.

Food needed for Pantry and baskets include:

  • Stuffing Mix 
  • Cranberry Sauce 
  • Yams 
  • Rice 
  • Canned Vegetables 
  • Canned Fruit

  • Crackers 
  • Cereals (Hot & Cold)

  • Jell-O & Pudding

  • Mac & Cheese
  • Jelly 
  • Juice
