"There is color all around us and with Fairfield County and the Harbor Point Community in full summer bloom, we may or may not realize how this can affect us in powerful ways," organizers note. "Tatiana has harnessed that beauty and has let the inspiration guide her perception of the world through her artwork."

Tretyakova creates affordable pieces geared towards homes, apartments and businesses in the area, and the artwork adds a unique dimension to these spaces.

"I love abstraction, I love to experiment with color," said Tretyakova. "When the color and shape intertwine some amazing things happen."

Abstract artists don't replicate objects they see into pictures, but rather use internal inspiration to create imaginary forms.

"Their brains pick things from their souls and turn them into a picture," organizers note. "They notice things that are not visible to the naked eye."

The exhibit will be from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. each day. The yacht club is located at 41 Bateman Way, in Stamford.
