“We plan to target media and creative professionals, as well as startups from any field who want a distinctive and productive work space in a highly collaborative environment… with spectacular views of Stamford Harbor and the Long Island Sound,” said co-founder Jeffrey Kay. "Video is now an established component of modern business communication, and we want to offer content producers top rate facilities with global connectivity via both web and broadcast."

Co-founder Lea Ann Miller said, “I am looking forward to hosting many different types of events at Workpoint…from book signings and cooking demonstrations, to corporate receptions and product launches. The breathtaking location and sophisticated design will make any event memorable.”

Kay, a network television director, launched Workpoint with partner and former Olympic figure skater turned event planner Miller.

Located at 290 Harbor Drive in a five-story building within the Shippan Landing waterfront office park, Workpoint offers temp-to-perm office space for on-the-move companies and entrepreneurs.

Workpoint's alternative to the four-wall office setup features open spaces, private furnished offices, outdoor patio kitchen, glass floor-to-ceiling windows with a view of Long Island Sound, 24/7 copy center and more. Three membership tiers are available.

It also incorporates a 1,000 square foot multi-camera studio with control room, green screen and editing facilities that can be used for video and photo shoots, conferencing, webcasts and satellite media tours.
