Rose Wang, founder & CEO of Binary Group and one of Fortune magazine’s Most Powerful Women Entrepreneurs of 2013, will host the networking session. Ticket holders will be invited to meet Wang.

“I’m passionate about mentoring women entrepreneurs and aspiring business leaders to support the advancement of women and minorities in business, especially in fields that are underrepresented by women such as technology, engineering and science,” said Wang.

Wang will also serve as a panelist. This year’s theme is "Connect. Grow. Influence. Women With Impact."

“WBDC is excited to have Rose Wang host the newly added networking component providing a unique opportunity for attendees to network and interact with successful entrepreneurs, media executives, and business leaders on a one-to-one basis,” said Fran Pastore, WBDC president and CEO. “WBDC’s goal is to offer direct access to these highly accomplished entrepreneurs and business leaders, so local professionals who want to advance their career or aspire to start their own business can get direct access and learn from their business experience and knowledge.”

The featured panel will be moderated by Paula Zahn, an award-winning journalist and newscaster.

Panelists include Carla Harris, the president’s appointed chair of the National Women’s Business Council and managing director at Morgan Stanley; and Amy Millman, founder and CEO of Springboard Enterprises.

Registration is required, and a limited number of tickets are available by visiting the WBDC website or by calling 203-353-1750.

The Stamford Plaza Hotel and Conference Center is located on 2701 Summer St.

Doors will open at 7 a.m for registration and the program will begin at 7:30 a.m. The networking session will start after the program and run until 10:15 a.m.
