The award is given to a chamber member each year that is supportive of the chamber's mission in an exemplary way. The Dock Shop owners Toni Sabia and Michael LaScala, along with their staff, accepted the award at the DCC Annual Meeting.

"The Dock Shop has year after year been a generous and devoted supporter of the Darien Chamber," the Darien Chamber said in a statement. The Dock Shop has supported all that the chamber does, whether it be participating in the three-day Sidewalk Sales or volunteering at the annual Wine Tasting and Auction Benefit. They have also advertised annually in the DCC Local Directory and participated in the DCC Business Panel Discussion event.

"Their generosity is boundless and makes a difference with helping the Darien Chamber fulfill its mission of promoting the business community and working to improve the quality of life in Darien."
