Stratford's Sikorsky To Lay Off 109 Workers In Connecticut

STRATFORD, Conn. — Over 100 Sikorsky Aircraft workers in Connecticut will be losing their jobs, according to multiple media reports Tuesday afternoon.

Lockheed Martin, which owns Stratford-based Sikorsky, announced that 150 employees will be laid off, 109 of whom work in Connecticut, according to WTNH-TV.

The layoffs will be in the Rotary and Mission Systems business, WTNH-TV said.
