Stamford's Pet Valu To Hold Pet Adoption At Grand Opening

STAMFORD, Conn. -- If you're looking for a new pet, or just some supplies for your current one, there is an event for you Saturday in Stamford.

Join STARelief and Pet Assistance and Project Precious Rescue Inc. from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. for the grand opening of Pet Valu in the High Ridge Shopping Center in Stamford.

Project Precious Rescue will bring adorable animals with them that are available for adoption. There also will be entertainment and refreshments at the new pet food store.
