Stamford To Host Small Business Roundtable With U.S. Sen. Murphy

STAMFORD, Conn., -- Mayor David Martin, U.S. Senator Chris Murphy (D-CT), and State Representative Caroline Simmons (D-144) will hold a small business roundtable at 4 p.m. Friday. The event will be at the Ferguson Library in the Board Room on the third floor.

Martin and representatives from the City of Stamford will give a brief presentation on the new Stamford Business Portal. Then Senator Murphy and Mayor Martin will hold a group dialogue to hear feedback from the business community about ways the city, state, and federal governments can help them moving forward.

Small business owners, or those who are looking to start a small business, are encouraged to attend.
