Stamford Nonprofits Get $134K In Grants From Bank's Foundation

STAMFORD, Conn. — The First County Bank Foundation awarded $134,294 in grants to 18 Stamford-based nonprofit organizations.

The money will go to programs designed for housing, job skills and training, students, and health and wellness, said a statement from the foundation.

The organizations and award amount is as follows:

▪ Neighbors Link Stamford, $5,000

▪ New Neighborhoods Inc., $15,000

▪ Rebuilding Together, $5,000

▪ The Salvation Army, $5,000

▪ Senior Services of Stamford, $10,000

▪ The Center For Sexual Assault Crisis Education and Counseling, $5,000

▪ Shelter for the Homeless, $10,000

▪ SoundWaters, $10,000

▪ St. Luke’s LifeWorks, $10,000

▪ St. Joseph Parenting Center, $2,000

▪ Stamford Emergency Medical Services, $9,793.56

▪ Stamford Partnership, $5,000

▪ Stamford Public Education Foundation, $2,500

▪ Stamford Senior Center, $5,000

▪ Starfish Connection, $5,000

▪ Technology Solutions for Nonprofits c/o United Way of Western Connecticut, $5,000

▪ The United Way, $15,000

▪ Yerwood Center, $10,000
