Olaf Sachau, the company’s chief financial officer, has been appointed Chief Executive Officer.
Doug Winter, the company’s chief commercial officer, has been promoted to the newly created position of president & chief commercial officer.
Sachau and Winter are taking over the leadership responsibilities from Franklin Pray, Intrepid Aviation's CEO since 2011, who is leaving to pursue other interests.

"Under Frank’s leadership, Intrepid has assembled the youngest portfolio in the aircraft leasing business, with some of the most desirable aircraft types in the industry.”

Before joining Intrepid, Sachau had been in senior management roles with Amentum Capital and HSH Nordbank. Before joining Intrepid, Winter had been in executive roles at Octagon Aviation Limited, AWAS and GECAS.
At the same time, Intrepid also announced the promotion of Mike Lungariello to chief financial officer, effective immediately. Lungariello joined Intrepid in 2012 and serves as the company’s senior vice president and global controller.

Intrepid Aviation also has promoted Daniel Perez to executive vice president of operations and aircraft programs as part of a series of executive team changes announced recently.
