Shop At Stamford's Fairway Market To Support Breast Cancer Awareness

STAMFORD, Conn. -- The Fairway Market in Stamford will help support Stamford Hospital with a "Paint the Town Pink" shopping event on Thursday, Oct. 24.

Shoppers who are interested in participating and donating can shop at the Fairway Market, at 699 Canal St., between 5 and 7 p.m. Shoppers register for the fundraiser at the market and 25 percent of what they spend will be donated to the "Paint the Town Pink" campaign to support awareness of breast cancer. 

Stamford Hospital will also have their Mobile Wellness Center parked outside and will provide mammograms.  Appointments are suggested. To make an appointment, call 203-276-2602 or 203-223-4181.

The Style Bar Hair Salon across from Fairway Market will host a Breast Cancer event from 3 to 7 p.m. in which all proceeds from blowouts during that time will be donated to the Stamford Hospital.
