Sopin and Voldinoa will be introduced at Friday’s open house from 5 to 10 p.m. at the studio, which is located at 6 Lewis St. Owner Christine Georgopulo, whose studio was voted the 2015 winner of the Best of the Gold Coast, believes the business’ new lead instructors will work well with the clientele.

“They were looking to make a change and they had many other opportunities,’’ Georgopulo said. “But they decided to make Greenwich their home. They are a unique combination of outstanding dancers, lovely people, fabulous teachers and great business people. I have absolute faith in them to make the Grande Ballroom the premiere dance studio in Fairfield County.”

Sopin and Voldinoa have been together for six years. They have won several titles, and were finalists in the World Mambo Championship. They have also appeared on the television show "Dancing With The Stars" and have worked as Instructors, Coaches and Judges in other Arthur Murray studios and events around the world before deciding to join the Greenwich team.

“I have seen them work before and they’re outstanding,’’ Georgopulo said. “They bring out the best in you as a dancer from the inside out. They can work with couples or people without a partner, everybody from 5 to 85.

“I’m dancing in the streets myself,’’ Georgopulo said. “They’re widely recognized and respect in the industry. I couldn’t be happier to have them join our team in Greenwich.”
