Mrs. Green's Remains Open In Stamford As Wilton Location Closes

WILTON, Conn. -- Mrs. Green's has announced it is closing its Wilton location by Sunday, Jan. 18, according to the Wilton Bulletin.

The natural foods grocery store has fewer than 40 employees, who will be moved to other Mrs. Green's locations in New Canaan, Stamford and Fairfield, the Wilton Bulletin said. 

The Wilton store opened in August 2013 in the strip mall on Route 7/Danbury Road. 

The Westchester County-based retail food store operates on the principle of providing people with only clean and natural products. 

The 15,000-square-foot store is located at 14 Danbury Road in the Gateway Shopping Center.
