MY SALON Suite at 29 High Ridge Road will give away free cups of coffee and hot chocolate to the public. In exchange, the business will donate the value of each beverage to the Food Bank of Lower Fairfield County.

The public is invited to stop by the salon Monday, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 29 High Ridge Road.

The fundraiser is to spread holiday cheer in the community while helping out a worthy cause. The business offers a fully equipped, private styling center for health and beauty professionals.

"We'll be serving warm beverages to shoppers," owner Kerry Tolisano told Daily Voice.

Her business' location in the plaza, next to Home Goods, is especially busy this time of year, she noted.

"Our objective is two-fold. It's to help out the food bank, and so people who are curious about what our concept is, can come in and see what some of the salon owners have done here."

The Food Bank of Fairfield County provides food to non-profit organizations that feed people in Darien, Greenwich, New Canaan, Norwalk, Stamford and Wilton.
