Bridgeport Budget Chief Nestor Nkwo was arrested around 8 p.m., Friday, March 29, after officers responded to a report of a crash on Park Avenue. According to an arrest report prepared by Bridgeport Police Officer Ryan Wilson, when he first interacted with Nkwo, who serves as the director of Bridgeport's Office of Police and Management, he talked and acted "normally." Hit-Run Crash: Man Seriously Injured In Danbury A man was seriously injured after being struck by a hit-and-run driver in Fairfield County. The incident occurred in Danbury around 8:15 p.m., Wednesday, April 3 in the area of 9A Clapboard Ridge Road.
